Fire Walker is the second book in the Sand Dancer series and carries on the themes of oppression and violence from the first book. Fire Walker is the story of the Fire Walkers, those with fire magic who are imprisoned and punished for their magical gifts. In this book, we explore more about their lives and how they are abused. It’s not designed to be an overly grim book as the Sand Dancer series is one of hope, but there are scenes which some readers might find distressing.
