If you follow me on Twitter, then you’ve no doubt heard me speak of The Anatomy of Fear! So what’s this all about?
The Anatomy of Fear is a brand new fantasy horror anthology coming this October featuring twelve of the best indie authors in the biz – Krystle Matar, Sean Crow, Tim Hardie, Zamil Akhtar, Bjorn Larssen, LL MacRae, BA Bellec, Lee C Conley, Jacob Sannox, HL Tinsley, Ryan Howse, and yours truly! We’ll be exploring the borders between fear and fantasy through fiction. This anthology brings together different thoughts, experiences, and perspectives to answer one question. What do we fear, and why do we fear it? Featuring a collection of unique stories, each featuring or inspired by a different part of the human anatomy, The Anatomy of Fear fuses horror, dark fantasy, grimdark, modern, and gothic influences.
Want a little tease? My story is about blood 🧛
I’ve been working on this story since I finished The Children of Chaos, and it has been a fun diversion! This anthology is already shaping up to be something special (and scary!) and YOU can be a part of it.
We’ve launched a Kickstarter to raise funds for the project, including editing and exclusive illustrations to match each story. Once we secure funding, we’re also hoping to add stretch goals for extras such as an audiobook! It would really mean a lot if you’d consider backing this project. Not only will you get stories from incredibly talented authors, but rewards too. How does getting your hands on an early version of the anthology, or digital copies of The Thirteenth Hour AND The Children of Chaos, sound for a start?
Head on over to our Kickstarter and consider making a pledge! Trust me, this is going to be awesome!
