It has been over a year since I released The Thirteenth Hour. This was a book of many firsts for me: my first adult fantasy, my first self-published book. And I basically went nuts with it. I never expected this incredibly chaotic book to be as well received as it has been!
I’m delighted that so many people have fallen in love with Chime, Kayl, and Quen. This has been such a fun series to write, and I’m definitely not done with Chime yet.
And so I’m incredibly honoured to announce that I’m a finalist in the Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off hosted by Mark Lawrence! The Thirteenth Hour was chosen by the Before We Go Blog as its finalist among a pool of six other fantastic semi-finalists. Competition has been fierce this year, which is proof of the amazing quality of indie authors. I never thought I’d make it this far, and it really is a dream come true.
I’ll be cheering the other finalists on no matter what happens next!
Not only is The Thirteenth Hour a SPFBO finalist but also a finalist in this year’s Book Bloggers’ Novel of the Year Award and Indie Ink Awards! 😱
I owe all of this to YOU! Honestly, if it wasn’t for readers enjoying my books and recommending them, I wouldn’t be here. THANK YOU to everyone who has taken a chance on me and my books. You are truly the best readers and friends that I could ever ask for.
